Based On Corba-database Access Components And Switching Platform

Nowadays, distribution flexibility and heterogeneity has become the prominent characters of the modern computing environments. However, it will involve many fussy network_programming tasks to develop distributed applications with network_programming services in traditional OSs, and it will decrease the efficiency of development. Therefore, OMG issues the CORBA specification, which enable the objects on distributed heterogeneous platforms to operate between themselves and to be portable. The core mechanism of CORBA is Object Request Broker(ORB). Now, the product of CORBA has become the main choice of developers of the distributed applications.In my task , first I expatiate on CORBA architecture , technology, running mechanism and how to make use of its. Then 1 design a database component with CORBA . But it has a slow performance. I analyze the source of the overheads, then I advance the optimizing technologies according to the analysis with pooling. I also introduce Reverse Engineering to solve the simple operation. At last, I introduce exchange platform.
