Distributed Objects technology has been developed into a core technology of establishing application system framework and standard component in current distributed heterogeneous environment. And it also plays an important role in Enterprise Integration, Distributed System Management, Software Component and so on. The OMG (Object Management Group) stipulated for the CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) specification to standardize the interoperation between heterogeneous systems. It brings forward the"SoftBus"concept, which enables the software component to"Plug&Paly", to improve their portability, reusability and interoperation.Web Services is the Service-Oriented Model. And it provides a standard means of interoperating between different software applications, running on a variety of platforms and/or frameworks. Howerver, we could call Web services with messages that are written in the SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) format. There's no standard for how a SOAP message is carried, and SOAP doesn't care what the transport is. As a result, it is possible to use SOAP message encapsulate CORBA request. To combine Distributed Objects technology with Web Services is a critical part of my paper. In the dissertation, an overview of analyzing CORBA specification is presented at first. Then, the architecture and feature of Web Services are detailed studied. Next bring out a prototype system that translate CORBA request in SOAP message. Last, the application systems based on Document Management model as well as the remarkable key points are explained one by one.The work in the dissertation is supported by national 863 high-tech Project—"A New Service-Oriented Network Architecture for Electronic Business and its Integrated Software Environment"(Code: 2003AA413320). The research made in the paper is not only confirming to current trend of international collaboration of manufacturing, but also having a great significance to promote the wider application of PDMS (Product Data Management System) in the Enterprise Integration.
