The domestic market of medical electronic and audio-visual publications has developed quickly from a very low start-up point since 1998, and gradually it becomes the main force in the domestic markets of scientific & technological electronic and audio-visual publications. Such situation is mainly due to the change of the development of audio-visual technology, computer technology, the demands of schools etc. In recent years of market competition, four presses have succeeded by making good use of their own advantages and taking reasonable strategies. However, the problems of presses themselves and some external environment forces hinders the development of this market due to the limited market capacity.In the publication field, electronic and audio-visual publications fall into the category of technical products, so the changes and development of this industry to a large extent depend on the change of the technological situation. At present, science and technology is developing rapidly day by day, providing a capacious stage for the innovation of products. In such environment, whoever can catch the opportunity to develop innovative products satisfying the needs of customers will stand out in the future competition.This thesis is divided into six parts.In the first part, the author introduces the history of the development of medical electronic and audio-visual publication market. The second part mainly touches upon the market segmentation of medical electronic and audio-visual publications. In the third part, the author mainly discusses the advantages, strategies and future trend of participants. In the fourth part, the author introduces the way by which he carried out a reader investigation and the result of analysis. In the fifth part, the author analyses the limited factors in the development of the market of the present medical electronic and audio-visual publications, and at the same time provides relevant countermeasures. And in the sixth part, the author analyses the development of the medical electronic and audio-visual publication market.
