In the field of digital signal processing,there are a mount of data need to be exchanged between the computer and peripheral device.To approve the transfer complete crectly ,the driver is needed to control the device,The task of this design is to develop a WDM driver after adjusting and debugging the acquisition and processing card.The card is used to acquisite the input signal in A/D chip,accomplish the FFT transfering and power spectrum analysizing in DSP chip,then send data to computer by PCI interface.The model of DSP is TMS320VC5402 of TI company and the PCI interface chip is S5920 of AMCC company .In this article ,author adjusts and debugs the card,then develops the driver for the card.When debugging the card ,author improves the A/D circuit,PCI circuit and DSP program ,then debuges the program using CCS software.According to the demand of hardware,author assigns the resource in S5920,then tests the function of the interface.Driver developing is the most difficult part of operate system developing.In this article author develop the WDM driver based on Windows2000 system.WDM is recommended vigorously by microsoft company.It has the characteristac of migration,safety and flexibility and is the main model of driver.In this artical,the WDM driver realizes to communitate between the card and application program,load the DSP program and read the data disposed by DSP.After installed,this driver correctly distributes the I/O range and memory range and realizes to read and write a little amount of data.after tested ,the driver works well.
