Workflow Management In E-government Applications

At present, information technology(IT) has become the most advanced and the most active element of production.The quick development of IT, especially the wide use of internet technology has made e-government the most important field of IT. Automating government business process is the core function of e-government System.Workflow management (WFM) technology is no doubt a recommendable solution to automate business process.Now WFM technology has attracted world-wide attention and become a hot topic in IT.This paper analyses the workflow research actuality,the theory and reference model of workflow management system(WFMS).Combining with practical application ,the paper expounds a light worflow management system which based on Lotus Domino/Notes and has a independentworkflow engineer. In this paper the author analyses the system with method of WFM,arguing development tools, implementation method and related technology of the system,describing the system design and concrete implementation.
