Research, Project Management Information System Based On Web-863 Research Projects

The topic management of the National High-tech Research and Development Program, namely 863 Program, has been administered in an extensive manner since its coming into operation. The project is inspected and controlled mid-period, and is managed by means of paper and forms. This mode of inspection and management has posed such problems as the project executive expert and the person in charge being in different places, the long period of the management and the complicated process of the project, exerting adverse effect on the efficiency of the management and the development of the project. In order to change the status quo, the present thesis initiates the application of project management in the operation of 863 Program with the remote information platform provided by the Internet to enhance the topic management.The thesis probes into the characteristics and the practice of the topic management of the 863 Program, in accordance with the idea of project managementand with the adoption of the advanced WEB technology, intends to provide a network topic management platform consisting of topic management, report and development for the topic manager and the topic executive so as to establish a dynamic and interactive network information system of project management. The thesis pay efforts at such aspects as followed:At first, the author of the thesis, with an exploration of the characteristics of topic management of 863 Program topic management and an introduction of the system construction and the key technique, adopt the B/S system structure with three layers. The thesis completes the structure design of the system composed of basic pages and application pages and develops some of its functions in the present thesis. The thesis analyze the project schedule management which is the key tache in the whole system, and design an schedule management which is made up of millstone report and other method.The thesis developed the main pages with advance techniques for WEB application software such as ASP and ASP.NET.The thesis will play an important role about the research and application of the WEB based project management.
