| The servo system control is a key technology of the CD unit. The optical pickup always can trace the pit of the disc correctly through accurate servo controlling, so can get well audio effect. Many functions of CD unit can be implemented with the system control, which its central processor is MPU.This thesis introduce the general situation and developing trend of CD family, the specifications of CD, data format, disc physical structure, EFM-Modulation Method for the Compact Disc and coding method for the Compact Disc-CIRC. The CD unit system structure and all parts function principle have been studied with emphases on the servo principle and all kinds of action control principle and process of CU8 in detail. Based on this, the new type CD unit-CU84VR is designed, which is added a new function according to CD-R/RW. The experiment result show that, for the new type CD unit-CU84VR, practice action wave and the overall performance of the product have been achieved the specifications of CD and customer' s requirement. |
