With the high-speed development of computer network technology,microelectronic technology and industrial automation level unceasing enhancement,which put forward higher request to the industrial control system, the modern ACservo system were asked to improve the control precision. At the same time, thesystem is required to digital, intelligent, network has become a trend, as a result,based on field bus network control technology research is a hot spot in thedevelopment of automation, but also the difficulty. At present, the field bustechnology in the field of industrial automation has been more and more used,including the CAN field bus as a kind of advanced technology, high reliability,perfect functions, lower cost of network communication control method has beenwidely applied in the automotive industry, security monitoring, engineeringmachinery, industrial control and other fields.However, CAN bus as an industrial bottom communication network, someproblems have been exposed by the CAN bus: such as tedious parameter setting、poor operational、complex wiring and poor real-time capability and so on.Based on the above situation,in this paper, based on the research of CAN busand its application layer protocol-CANopen, the CAN bus technique is applied to acservo driving system, the USB-CAN communication card is designed. Thedevelopment research of hardware and software of AC servo drive master-slavestation control system, has important theoretical and practical value.First of all, Ac servo system, and CAN field bus and CANopen protocoldevelopment course and present situation are introduced, the fieldbus control systemwith the traditional control system of the advantages by comparison, Distributednetworked control method of the ac servo system and the key points are analyzed.Second, according to the requirements of the implementation scheme, on thisbasis, the CANopen protocol is carried on the thorough analysis, CANopenmaster-slave station implementation method and key technology are detailed analyzed,CAN bus and PC USB communication interlinkage methods are proposed, the USB-CAN communication card is designed. Its hardware mainly includes the USB module,the CAN module and the design of peripheral hardware module, Its software mainlyCAN communication programming and CAN data to the USB data conversion design, among them, the software part of the ac servo drive from the station was main design.Finally, the entire servo control system design and development work is completed.Finally, the permanent magnet synchronous motor servo control system is built,the system is based on the CANopen protocol communication. Using PC and USB-CAN communication card as controlling center, with ac servo drive system as thenode from the stand, this paper realizes CAN bus communication between the servodriver and PC. The USB-CAN communication card and servo drives master-slavestation were to run the test,the experimental results show that the design to achievethe desired effect.
