Networked-Manufacturing has been the trend of modern manufacturing technology and can improve the competence of enterprise effectively with the development of network technology. And workflow management technology, as one of core technology in Networked-Manufacturing, can make enterprises realize the automation and integration on business processing under networked-manufacturing. In this thesis, the Workflow Management System under Networked-Manufacturing environment(WfMSNM) is studied aiming at the character of networked-manufacturing, and the system is developed independently. The main contents are as follows:1. The technology of workflow modeling is studied. Comparison of several workflow modeling methods, the paper presents an heuristic and maneuverable method, an extended activity network diagram.2. A visual Workflow Modeling tool is designed. It is programmed by Java. It can model workflow conveniently and has the function of collaborative modeling.3. The realizable scheme and key technique of the Workflow Management System under Networked-Manufacturing environment are illustrated and analyzed. These are key parts in realizing the Workflow Management System. Combining with the characteristic and requirement of Networked-Manufacturing and Workflow technology, the thesis proposes a three-layers-distributed architectural framework, and then realizes the Workflow Management System using the technology of persistent message and process binding.4. A website is established which supports the Workflow Management System. It can provide the function of special client service and monitor the state of workflow activity.
