With the development of IP network, people come to realize that telecommunication network, computer network and cable-TV network will be combined into a uni-IP network-Next Generation Network.(NGN).Base on the demand of the future NGN service and application, the network equipment face a great challenge on function , reliability and process power. Moreover, the network equipment become more and more complex and distributed.According to the recommending of ITUT norm, modern signaling network will evolve to reach NGN by Signaling Gateway(SG). As a core network equipment, the architecture of SG become distributed to meet the requirement of larger capcity.lt not only bring a challenge to network equipment design, but also bring some new issues of network management technology.The reserch object of this article is to design and implement a network management agent on a distributed, large scale signaling gateway(LSG).Firstly, this article gives a survey of the modern network management technology, followed by the analysis of traditional architecture of SG and framework of traditional network management. Then, it discuss the problems around them.Secondly, it studies the principle and architecture of LSQ and designs a network management agent system for LSG We also improved agentX protocol to fit the framework of LSG network management and strengthen the function of this protocol. As the result ,we present a solution of how to design a network mangement agent in the muti-CPU and distributied run-time environment. In addition, we apply the group communication technology to improve the reliablity and manageability of network entity (NE)'s .Finally, the article observes the trend of network management technology. |
