Parallel The Distribution Of Data In The Digital Library System, Loading And Maintenance

With the quick development of digital library, parallel database systems have become a major tool for high performance information processing. We develop a parallel documental data managing system that can be used in digital library. Because data loading operation takes a lot of time, we propose a new multithreading parallel loading algorithm to distribute all documents from data collectors to query processors. This algorithm runs on parallel computer environment. Controlled by a front_end coordinator, the coordinator, collector processors and query processors can communicate with each other and coordinate to finish all the procedures efficiently. The experimental results show that this parallel method has higher performance than the traditional algorithm.
