According to the development of network environment and the information technology, the information grew quickly and the demand of information became more complex. In this dissertation the author studied the history and the development of the digital library and data warehouse technology. Based on the fact of CAS the author point out that the way of science and technology information service is to build up a digital library system of science and technology including multi-sources, research management etc. And provide multi-layer and intelligent service to meet the demand. And this kind of system is a huge data warehouse system. Base on this analysis and the background of the CAS. the author has designed the solution with data warehouse technology of the digital library system of science and technology.
