Study Of Data Replication And Backup Technologies

This paper studies the data replication technic in distrubuted environment,and data backup and recovery technic used in very large database system.With the push of distribution application of database,the data replication technic is widely used because of it's advantages and becomes a hotspot in the field of database technic research.Data replication publishes the publication which is defined by publishing database to other subscribing database,which provides a quick and efficient method to release information in distribution environment. The remote users can take distributed operation on the replicas,then cut down the load of network and center database server. The result that user has operated on the replicas may pull back to the center database,which provides an available means for data collection and database backup.This paper mainly studies the data replication realization in traditional relation database and object relational database,studies the data conflic solution in replication procedure. We deeply study the modules of data replication and the data conflic solution methods. According to the characteristics of object type data in spatial database,we study the data replication which surpport object type data,and put forward object materialized view replication. We implement the function of data replication in relation database system and spatial database system,design the data replication solution project in GuangZhou fire protection and communication system. In addition,we research the key technic of database backup and recovery,which is very important to database protection.
