Research On Heterogeneous Databased Replication Technique In Based On Multi-platform

Database replication is a kind of key technologies to improve database performance, reliability and availability in the distributed environments. With the growing of database's heterogeneities, the replication technology of heterogeneous database has become a key area of database replication research.The dissertation firstly introduces the categories of database replication, data capturing technique, synchronization protocols, conflicts detection and solutions in light of basic theories and key technology. The detailed introduction has laid a solid basis of the following research.After deciding on the key research area of heterogeneous database replication, the dissertation has proposed a asynchronous replication model for heterogeneous database. The model has composed of five parts: replication management, data capturing, synchronization, conflicts detection and solution, data propagation. The model uses improved control-change method to record the change of records. The conflict of foreign keys has been resolved by a two-step approach which generates replication data. Synchronize process' design ensures the correct replication running in abnormal situations. The unique constraint violation conflict has been resolved by mark method. It also design propagation mode of replication data on different topology structure.There are three technique problems to keep database system running smoothly without any interruption. They are database changing, nodes and topology structures changing and disaster recovery. To resolve the three problems, the dissertation has proposed a maintenance method according to asynchronous replication model for heterogeneous database.Lastly, we have implemented asynchronous replication model for heterogeneous database in HBCMSMIS. The model has succeeded in heterogeneous database replication between Oracle and SQL Server database on multi-platform.
