The topic of this paper is the QOS and its application in network manufacture system. It is put forward on the base of research fruit to the QOS and the actual requirement. This paper describes network manufacture system framework that is the key technique of manufacturing in the future. According to the information process of manufacturing we can see that the network manufacture system based on Internet is the key technique and the direction of manufacturing in the future. The multimedia information that has rigid restrict to time is main part of information transported in the network according to the framework of network manufacture system. But current IP network can't meet this demand because of its demerit. And QOS is used to resolve this problem. It introduces the concept, background and protocol framework of QOS. In this paper, the most complicated protocol named resource reservation protocol is main subject. It depicts the theory, protocol context, information management and so on. There is a RSVP system that has been realized in this paper, which is completed by perfecting program, adding interface in addition to some known document. We test performance by making a test platform to observe the improvement of QOS performance weighed by throughput, loss, delay, jitter and reliability. So we can deduce the feasibility of RSVP protocol. According to the result of experiment we can know that the reserved data flow has stable parameter even when the traffic condition shifts from normal to overload. By contrast, the parameter of unreserved flow differs greatly when the traffic condition varies. Because perfect and system research to network manufacture system is still in experimental phase, there is no detailed presentation for actual instance of the application of QOS in network manufacture system. But its theory is same to the resource reservation of current multimedia, so is the framework of application program. So we can say that the content of this paper has important and practical sense to network manufacture system.
