With the development of communication technology, heterogeneity and fusion will be the main features in future network system. The key problem is that how to provide an end to end QoS guaranted Service to users. Related standard organization and institute had made contributions to the aporia. Related projects include DAIDALOS, EuQoS, Ambient Networking and so on. Those projects aim to provide a framework, but implementation of systems is not detailed described. This paper focuses on QoS negotiation on the access level of the network. Based on the analysis of releated projects and demand of actual projects, the design of QoS guaranted heterogeneous network system is given. And an improvement proposal of resource reservation schema is described.Firstly, the paper gives an overview of architecture and key technologies related with heterogeneous network. And QoS demand and key problems are introduced. And also, the paper analyse the architecture of some related projects. Based on the principle of expansibility, openness and concertedness, the system architecture is described and modules and interfaces are designed. After that, details of QoS sub-system and signaling interaction are described.Secondly, the paper analyse traditional RSVP schema, and some extensions apated to mobility and dynamic change of network resourcse. Based on the architecture of Heterogeneous network system, a modified RSVP-HF-RSVP is descripted. The theoretical analysis and the numerical simulation result indicate that this method improves the utilization of network bandwidth and reduces the handoff delay. In the end, the summary of the whole thesis, current shortcomings of the system and future work are given.
