Abstraction is the primary method to understanding things that are artificialities or from nature. This is also true for the software system, especially the large or the complicated system, of which the use and build of models is often the center of design. In fact, the process to building a series of models is the main work for software development. In this thesis, some models for interactive system and the CORBA object model is discussed. To support the design and implementation of object-oriented distributed system, a model TLOM (two-level object model) we called introduced. In which the object level is introduced and some UML notions and diagrams extended for the design in the concept from TLOM. We believe that this kind of model can support more perfect mapping between design and implementation, it is also the purpose of the model. The TLOM, we believe, suits the design but analysis, based on which a framework of activities support the modeling in TLOM. This framework indicates the models to build, not deals with any process-related issue. What makes it different is that the analysis bases on common object model, the design bases on TLOM, conversion from analysis to design is in the architecture modeling, and it focus on the interactive system.A case study shows the use of TLOM, especially in the distributed and interactive system. From the views of technique, a pilot study explores the feasibility to thinking distributed object-oriented system in the direction of implementation, is the distributed object-oriented language we called.
