With the rapid development of information technology, the pulse compressiontechnology is getting more and more widely used in military, especially in modernnew radar systems. As a new type of modern radar, pulse compression radar has anexcellent detection performance, and also has a good anti-interference ability. Thestudy of the technical performance and the anti-interference ability of pulsecompression radar have very important theoretical and practical significance. Basedon the modeling of pulse compression radar system, As two forms of pulsecompression radar performance—linear frequency modulation and signal phraseencoding, their performance and their common interference pattern have been focusanalyzed and discussed. According to the interference pattern of the two radarjamming effect, MATLAB simulation has been experimentally completed.This paper summary of main work is as follows:(1) Based on the analysis on the theory of pulse compression, the basicproperties of the pulse compression radar and the current domestic and foreignresearch status of pulse compression radar have been analyzed. The pulsecompression radar system structure and how to realize pulse compression have beenstudied, and the analysis of the modern new radar jamming technology has beencompleted.(2) Linear frequency modulation signal and the basic characteristic of the phasecode pulse compression radar signal are discussed. Based on the analysis of two kindsof radar system block diagram and working process, the impulse compression ofLFM signal and phase coding signal has been completed, and through the two signalsfuzzy function simulation diagram of Gaussian white noise, the performance of thetwo kinds of radar signal are compared.(3) Completed the pulse compression radar system simulation. According to thepulse compression radar system composition block diagram, in the three parts ofradar target echo and clutter noise, radar signal receiving and signal processing, theimportant module of the radar impulse system has been simulated. Simulation content mainly includes: use Rayleigh clutter simulate radar clutter noise, effect comparisonof radar echo signal in time domain and frequency domain,pulse compression withwindow, compared with that without window,with the moving target echo Dopplerdisplay and superposition of Rayleigh clutter echo of constant false alarm detection,etc. Finally realize the pulse compression radar system modeling and simulation.(4)Studied the anti-jamming performance of linear modulated signal pulse compression radar.Discussed the frequence shift interference,intermittent interference andconvolution interference of linear modulated signal pulse compression radar,completed simulation of each interference and experimental results.(5) Studied the phase code pulse compression radar signal anti-jammingperformance. Discussed the noise phase modulation interference phase coded radarsignal, radio frequency interference and noise frequency shift jamming such ascommon interference pattern, and completed simulation of each interference andanalysis of the experimental results.
