At present, ERP of company is more and more fashion. With our country entering WTO, more and more companies in China want to build ERP to improve their competence. Whether is foreign ERP suitable for our country? How to build Chinese company ERP based on Chinese environment? How to update traditional ERP in our country? These are very important problems we have to resolve.There are three main parts in traditional ERP system: Production control (planning, manufacture), Material management (sale, buying, stock management) and Account management (account compute, finance management). There are Buying module, Production module, Stock management module, Sale module and account module in most company's ERP system. There are a few companies that has a Human resource module. But almost all the companies ignore after-service of their companies, ignore the importance of after-service. At first, I put forward a new idea that integrates a company's after-service into its ERP system in this essay. Then, I illuminate the importance of after-service in traditional ERP system. I also do some research on how to integrate after-service into ERP system: making communication between After-service subsystem and Buying subsystem with Buying interface module; making communication between After-service subsystem and Production subsystem with Account interface module; making communication between After-service subsystem and Production subsystem with Import/Export interface module. At the same time, building company's own After-service system through building Compensation subsystem and Transferring subsystem. I analyze the problem in building After-service system because of the large area in ourcountry and the collision between new stock management system and old stock management. Then, I give a example to solve these problems. At the last, I can claim it is plausible to use the new idea that integrates after-service into traditional ERP system for building ERP system. I also claim it is suitable for Chinese companies and important for Chinese companies. I give a solution for Chinese company to integrate new ERP system into old ERP system and do some practice for the future development.
