Editing System. The Development Of Computerized Embroidery Cad Systems (flower)

This paper presents a practical application software, the CAD system forembroidery design, which has the capabilities of scanning pictures or embroideryproducts, importing the skeletons of embroidery drafts, creating key points of theoutlines of the those drafts, creating stitch points of those embroidery drafts fromthose key points, converting stitch points information into proper forms and so on.This system is implemented on the microcomputer. This paper mainly discussesthe following problems: the system design and realization method; algorithms ofpicture creation, picture transformation, picture access and so on; the input and outputsystem. This paper also discusses the encounter problems and their solutions duringthe design and development of the system.
