The Job Management System Based On Web Design And Realization

With the broad use of computer clusters, the investigation and development of Job Management System (JMS) have become an emerging area. Many overseas research institutes and corporations adopt JMS as a technologic warrant of improving production efficiencies and promoting the availability of resource, and unfold many research and developing projects according to the actual needs. However, domestic research has not been deployed in this field, saying nothing of products. In this case, KeXin software Development Corporation began to investigate and develop JMS by cooperating with one Japanese company, NEC, since 1997. Lots of works have been done on JMS and some achievements have been obtained. The JMS, which was successfully developed by KeXin Corporation, is a comprehensive commercial Job Management System. It not only owns general characteristics of JMS, including distribute-processing, shared resource and load balancing etc., but also has the merits of high reliability, expandability and operability. However, there still exist some problems in this system. For example, when the users want to visit this system, they have to install too much software and the process of installing is very complicated. In addition, route visit could not be realized in this JMS. With the development of network, these problems are becoming more obvious. In order to improve this JMS, author took part in the process of modifying Client of this system. The dissertation summarizes most of my work and results. It concludes: 1. Analyzing and Undertanding the current JMS. 2. Modifying the Client of this System. By using the new Client----WebGUI, the users can conveniently visit the JMS in long distance. 3. Designing and developing different application gateways based on different terminals. 4. According to the characteristics of WAP, theoretically designing the application gateway for WAP and realizing part function with coding.
