This paper introduces the background information about the Drum Mixer with Recycled Asphalt Product for Asphalt Concrete Production in the worldwide region. Based on the producing procedure of the whole system, It divides the whole control system into two relatively independent parts: The Asphalt Proportion Control System and The Production Temperature Control System. This paper discusses the two systems in detail respectively. In the Asphalt Proportion Control System, the Asphalt Proportion of Asphalt Product cannot be measured accurately and quickly through direct measurement. Because the spied asphalt has indirect relation with product Asphalt Proportion of Asphalt Product, we have to solve the key problem of measuring the asphalt flux in order to realize the close-loop control for Asphalt Proportion. We applied the novelty Multiple Periods Synchronization Method to measure asphalt flux, its system error in measurement are carefully analyzed. In the discussion of Product Temperature Control System, we deduced the system model for the whole mixer system, presented the advanced Adaptive Forecast control, and compared it with the traditional PU) cascade control with forward feeding. Simulations are presented and analyzed in this paper, and it illustrated that the adaptive control has a better effect. The last part of the paper studies the hardware and software design of the practical system, and the software is designed in Visual Basic and Visual C-H-. The paper discusses the key parts of the hardware system and software system.
