Corporate Multimedia Information Management And Network Remote Service System

Nowadays there is a rapidly growth of the multimedia information in people抯 working and life. The problem of how to manage effectively to multimedia information is becoming increasingly important to improve management level of enterprises and living quality of people. The thesis presents the referential model of Multimedia Information Management System (MMIS), then analyses several patterns Clients/Server and Browser/Server pattern, adopted commonly in current enterprise management information systems on the basis of this model. In the thesis there is detailed discussion to these patterns. In chapter 3, the thesis describes the designing procedure of multimedia database of a practical engineering project, and discusses the technological difficulty in the designing. In the last of the thesis, there are introduction of the database technology based on Web, and description of the selected technology adopted in the practical remote service system.
