Color Management Systems Based On Icc Standards - Display Device Characteristics And Characterization Of The Establishment Of The Files

Accurately communicating and reproducing color information have always been being the color management System's target and an important subject for study among different devices. In order to meeting the needs of the development of open printing system, electronic publishing and network publishing,several companies formed the International Color Consortium(ICC),and they formulated the relative Standards, Which have been Pushing on the color management system(CMS) to develop in the direction of opening and standardization.As CRT monitor is an essential part of the prepress system, based on the ICC standards, It is of important sense that display device profile is created to correct the monitor color.The GOG model and BP network of artificial neural network are used for setting up themonitor color space transformation model to obtain the tagged element data of the ICC display device profile and create the display device profile, on the basis of the study on the lCC profile format specification and the characteristics of monitor color display and according to the "Sharp/Matrix processing model" provided by ICC standards.On the basis of color difference analysis of two kinds of models, models are improved and their accuracy are evaluated. At the same time, the module of display device Profile builder of ProfileMaker software is designed to create display device profile with VC++6.0 programming language in window98 operating system, thus realizing basically ICC-based monitor color management.The primary attempt and Probing are conducted to accelerate the development of the Open color management system by the link of CMS and ICC Standards, which lays a theoritical base and accumulates the practice experience for the further study in the future. And the developed sofeware has certain applied values in the prepress system.
