| Accurately communicating and reproducing color information have always been being the color management system' s target and an important subject for study among different devices.Since monitor and color ink jet printer are important display and input device of computer, it is a significant and absolutely necessary work to investigate their characteristics.On the basis of investigating the characteristics of the appearing color of CRT monitor and output device, in this paper, color space conversion between Device-Dependent color space and Device-Independent color space are made for monitor, color ink jet printer respectively; For color being unanimous, we realized the color match between the space of the display and the printer, then the output by color ink jet printer is evaluated and the input is modified accordingly, until getting the excellent color matching effect between the monitor and the printer. At the same time, a software for CSC(Color Space Conversion)1. 0 is developed under the environment of Microsoft Visual C++6.0 base on the operating system of Windows XP.As a result, the thesis is of great value to the further research on the CMS and the designed software has certain applied values in the display and output field of computer.
