Monitoring Mode and Data Communication are the two aspects of Temperature and humidity monitoring. Monitoring Mode has developed to the present DCS from the original manual test,and in the same time, Data Communication being developed to fieldbus from the independent signal lines. RS485 and CAN bus transfer rate will up to their upper limit with the increase of temperature and humidity detection nodes, and Ethernet has the biggest advantages that are High speed of communication and network,howerver,it also has the problem of limited application in the field of temperature and humidity monitoring for its relative expensive prices. Therefore, the success combination of high efficient communication, wide range of adaptation and large-scale distributed monitoring for the temperature and humidity monitoring system will be a very meaningful thing. Based on this point, this paper put forward a kind of far and near process combining distributed monitoring system combined with semiconductor, communication and control technology, namely, the temperature and humidity intelligent monitoring system based on Ethernet and GSM.The main work of this thesis is descriped as following:completed the whole scheme designation of Soc(system on chip) which is the most important part of Temperature and Humidity Monitoring System.Make the decision of which kinds of components and the core MCU of So C to choise after a feasibility analysis of various functional modules,completed the Principle Diagram designation and PCB Layout designation of Soc with PADS,and print designation out to PCB board. Designed out software flow diagram of Ethernet module, GSM module, sensor control module after set up the hardware circuit with modules,and completed the code development task in MCU. Designed and developed the module of the user-defined transplantation protocol API for each software module,and finished the software transplantation, integration for all and debugging work of each software module,.Finally combined function verification test for Soc system module with the upper machine-PC and Mobile terminal etc.This system has several new features as follows:(1) Put forward a new monitoring policy by studing the combination of the two methods that are Ethernet monitoring and GSM networks monitoring,which not only can upgrade communication rate of traditional temperature and humidit y monitor ing system,but also enhancing the monitoring range and flexibility of Ethernet,for Ethernet has the features with network and high rate while GSM network has a wide distribution and flexible characteristics.(2) Has a cost-effective features for using medium-level embedded processor to completed the relevant designation of complex system.(3) One PC terminal can monitor and real-time query all sensor probes of all devices distributed in the LAN, realized large quantities and DCS monitoring, and mobile terminals can make remote monitoring come ture via a GSM network, which also can query and monitoring the relevant data from each sensor monitoring channel on the So C system.(4) To reduced the error by applications with strong data processing methods such as nonlinear compensation and correction practicality so that the maximum error of temperature and humidity can maintain an acceptable range, achieved a good result.
