So far, it has been 40 years since the ecomuseum appeared. In the 1980s, the concept of ecomuseum was brought to our country, among which the ideas about the overall protection of nature, culture heritage, and intangible culture heritage were widely discussed. Our country started the construction of ecomuseums in Guizhou, Guangxi, Yunnan, and Inner Mongolia successively. However, in practice, some corresponding problems came out constantly, which restrained the development of eco-museum, such as the disharmony between culture heritage protection and economic development, government’s excessive intervention, inhabitants’deficient enthusiasm in participation and so on.The thesis is based on practical survey and searching relevant materials. It offers an overview of construction process and development condition of Anji ecomuseum, and then summarizes and analyzes its management and operation pattern. It discusses the role which Anji eco-museum plays in village construction and problems which it causes. Meanwhile, along with other ecomuseums’development condition, it not only tries to expose some problems in the process of eco-museum’s construction, but also puts forward some personal advice. Meanwhile, there exist some problems in inhabitants’cognition and insufficient follow-up.The fifth part:The thesis presents some thoughts about ecomuseum’s development. Compared with ecomuseums’similarities and differences among "three development periods", it elaborates on the position of government and community inhabitants, the difference and effect that they make on the eco-museum, and the relationship between eco-museum and cultural protection. It also gives an account of folk culture village, cultural assembly hall, and ecomuseum comparatively. What’s more, it attempts to express a theory about ecomuseum constructional pattern called "Center Hall plus Cultural Assembly Hall".
