Nowadays, Computer technology has been widely used. Network and database are playing more important roles in people’s work, and they have been widely applied in all walks of life. Rail transit is the largest transit system in China, and its management is always closed-end. In recent years, high-speed passenger Rail transit develop rapidly in the south China. On the passenger dedicated line, trains run at a speed of more than200km per hour, while the driving distance is reduced and departure frequency is raised. That cause great pressure on maintenance.This subject is researching on a rail transit maintenance works management system for Ningbo maintenance devision. First, this thesis introduces the research background and existing researches and applications of similar systems. Then clear the method and work to achieve the research objective.This thesis does a deep and comprehensive research about the designing and implementation of Ningbo railway maintenance management system, and analyzes its feasibility in various aspects. Considering the actual condition of Ningbo maintenance devision, a comprehensive operation analysis has been done. According to the existing problems in the maintenance management operation, it rebuilds the whole operation process and fundamentally redesigns the original operation process, makes the straight functional structures into parallel or network structures, and optimizes the resources allocation. Through the analysis of system roles and the use cases, the function structure is built. Then, analyzes the entity class, and build database structure. At last, System running test is taken on PC, and the function module performances are good, it reaches the design objective.
