In recent years, pneumatic control, electronic technology and mechanical technologydevelop very fast and striking all of us, at the same time, the combination of these aspects aremore widely, especially in combination with the ARM microprocessor, to further promote the gas-electric-machine integrated pneumatic servo control technology’s progress and development;Now, in the field of automation and control, more and more ARM-based applications, thepracticality of pneumatic control technology based on the ARM microprocessor has been fullyreflected; therefore, when the integration of gas-electric-pneumatic servo-controlled machineappeared, attracted widespread attention, one important aspect is the combination of the medicaldevices and universal application.This subject is for medical devices EECP’s air pressure control system to do the relevanttheoretical analysis and practical research, due to the traditional EECP medical bed’s gas source isprovided by an air compressor, it needed an oil separation, cooling, filtration and auxiliaryequipment, so there are noisy, expensive, bulky, not environmentally friendly and have otherdefects. In view of these problems and defects, now presents a servo motor control based onARM ’s new pressure control system to improve the cost and usability.This design is mainly based on the ARM Cortex-M3processor embedded real-time systems,combined with servo controller and servo motor control and other major components, and on thisbasis by the pressure sensor sensing the size of the airway pressure, the servo controller tocomplete the accuracy of the servo motor control, so that the motor of rotation through aplanetary gear reducer, flexible couplings and ball screw into linear motion, push the cylinderlinear motion acting, and then combined with the opening and closing solenoid valves, the airbagcan be well controlled during balloon inflation and deflation. Since the pneumatic system itselfhas poor linearity,time delay and time-varying characteristics, which put forward higherrequirements for the servo motor control accuracy, so in the system design process, consideringand analysis a lot of methods and eventually adopted DMC control algorithm.Throughexperiments, the gas source supplied by the ARM-based servo pneumatic system are moreeconomical, convenient, fast and practical, can be better meet the accuracy requirement andachieved EECP medical bed ’s sequential charge of the balloon in the treatment.
