Beidou Navigation System (BDS) is a system of satellite navigation and positioning, which is developed and operated independently by our country, aiming to bring convenience to the world and guarantee the national security of China. Since the 80s of the 20th century, China started the research of Beidou navigation and positioning system. After nearly 20 years of development, the Beidou satellite navigation system becomes more and more mature, it brings huge economic benefits for our country.With the running of Beidou second generation system, China has made a precise attack on the small target become possible. But as the United States and other developed countries blockade the information of the receiver chips, and our country also has a large gap on the technique of satellite receiver. So, we need to develop our own high-performance receiver system. Combined with the research on GPS Navigation Receiver of our own laboratory in recently years, a design of Beidou second generation receiver is proposed, which will be used for precision guide of artillery.In this paper, according to the theory of baseband signal processing and navigation positioning, the simulation of phase-locked loop and frequency-locked loop has been realized, obtained the loop parameters, determined the receiver scheme is DSP+FPGA, also implemented the loop algorithm and drive circuit design in DSP, what’s more, completed the whole hardware circuit design (including schematic design and PCB drawing) of the receiver. Then, the system board is made. The Receiver is mainly divided into three modules, the RF module is implemented in a particular RF chip MAX2769B, the baseband signal processing is completed in FPGA, and the navigation and positioning part is realized in DSP. Hardware debugging and software debugging are carried out of the three major modules and its peripheral equipments. Also, static test and dynamic test is completed to the Navigation Receiver. The results show that the proposed method has good results.
