Research On Mobile Client Development Of Provincial Radio And TV Broadcasting

In 2014 the number of mobile Internet users exceeds the traditional PC users for the first time. Mobile news app is becoming the main application of Internet users access to news information. Different news media launched their own mobile news app. Compared to the portal site, the provincial radio and TV media relatively lag.By the SWOT analysis on the mobile news app in provincial radio and TV station, taking the administrative classification system of Chinese Radio and TV into consideration, this paper thinks the provincial radio and TV station is not able enough to develop media mobile news covering the whole country. Meanwhile, the TV news of people’s livelihood is a mature resource in provincial radio and TV station, who has a strong brand. But The TV news of people’s livelihood faced with bottleneck subject to the television media audio-visual mode. So developing the mobile news app relying on the TV news of people’s livelihood is the best choice of provincial radio and TV station, aimed at developing regional mobile news app.Taking the mobile news app of Urban Express in Shannxi Radio and TV station for example, this paper comprehensive analyses its brand characteristics, the content and the user experience. It continues its mother column’s brand characteristics, releasing fracturing news of mother column. Meanwhile the app serve life service information to enlarge the downloads. What’s more, the app encourage the audience to participate in the interaction. According to existing problems, this paper put forward the corresponding development strategies.
