With the rapid development of RFID and wireless location technology, both of them are widely used in financial industry. For example, use RFID system to manage important property, or use GPS to track armor cash carrier. But most of banks can not manage and track the entire process of cash escort, and there are many security risks in the process due to a lot of manual operations.The thesis designs and implements Bank Cash Escort Management System based on RFID, Wi-Fi location and GPS location. In details, it firstly researches on RFID and wireless location technology, and introduces the architecture of RFID system and the classification of wireless location technology. Secondly, the thesis does requirements analysis on cash escort. It analyzes the process, affairs and objects, and describes the functions of the system. Then, it designs Bank Cash Escort Management System. The system has five subsystems:RFID management, people management, things management, location monitoring and wireless location. RFID management subsystem is to manage RFID data, coordinate other subsystems, and manage logs, reports and alarms. People and things management subsystem is to manage people and things. Location monitoring subsystem is to receive RFID and GPS location information, show it on electrical map based on MapX, and also give an alarm when something unnormal occurs. Wireless location subsystem locates people and things with RFID, Wi-Fi and GPS, calculates their real-time locations and sends them to location monitoring subsystem. After that, the thesis designs and implements wireless location subsystem in the coffers, armor cash carrier and branch. The system uses Wi-Fi RFID tag to mark objects, and locates them with standard IEEE802.11centralized WLAN. In the way of cash escort, the system locates armor cash carrier with GPS, and transmit data via3G network. At last, the thesis tests accrucy of the wireless location subsystem and optimizes AP arrangement based on test results.The system tracks the entire process of cash escort, locates people and things in real time, and manages people and things. It makes the procedure automatical and intelligentize, and reduces the factitious impact to cash escort process. Thus, the safety of cash is guaranteed.
