wireless location technology is the main positioning technology, including GPSand other global satellite positioning systems, wireless cellular positioning system, aswell as some other ground-based navigation system, and these outdoor positioningsystem has been widely used.The indoor positioning system, although a variety ofpositioning technologies, such as Bluetooth, ultrasonic, ZigBee, WiFi technology and soon, but due to the complexity of the indoor environment, making the positioningaccuracy of these technologies is not very sensitive. Because indoor wireless locationhas not yet reached more mature stage, future study is need.In this thesis, considering the above problem, on the basis of analysising thecurrent indoor positioning technology and the advantage of RFID technology, it leads tothe application of RFID technology for indoor positioning. Main contents are:1. It gives introduction of indoor wireless positioning technology, an overview of theapplication status of the RFID technology and situation of research of positioningtechnology based on RFID.2. It introduces technology of RFID,analysising of the characteristics of the indoorwireless environment and RFID indoor positioning technology, including TOA,TDOA, AOA, RSSI, and compares the characteristics of several positioningmethods. The algorithm mentioned in this article are based on the RSSI method.3. It introduces several RSSI-based RFID positioning algorithm, which describes thelocation algorithm based on logarithm distance loss model, LANDMARC algorithm,VIRE algorithm, BVIRE algorithm. In these algorithms, the algorithm based onlogarithm distance loss model is a triangulation, then scene analysis of otheralgorithms.4. A new RSSI-based algorithm is put forward, named IMPRO_BVIRE algorithm,which is a algorithm of scene analysis, and is a improvement of BVIRE algorithm.It use a mean idea to obtain the RSSI value,and instead the original linearinterpolation method of the loss model-based interpolation in evaluation of RSSI ofvirtual reference tags, and in getting the nearby labels, with a small probability of elimination, thus exclude the small probability of a reference point to improve thepositioning accuracy.5. It analysis the parameters of IMPRO_BVIRE algorithm, simulating the affection ofa virtual grid density and the threshold of small probability of exclusion method forthe positioning accuracy, and It compare several other algorithms, by comparison,reflecting the superiority of the IMPRO_BVIRE algorithm.
