The rapid development of modern computer technology provides a very favorable environment for the advancement of large-scale supermarket management system technology, as well as gives huge power source to the development. In the situation of globalization driven by a growing number of large enterprises, the large supermarket companies began to use Internet technology as the core of large enterprise information management system to achieve large-scale enterprises interaction and management data transfer between the internal and external parts.Web Services technology is a new distributed computing technology, it provides a better solution in solving the business management system deficiencies than that in the traditional distributed computing approach. As a new model of distributed computing, Web services is an effective mechanism for the integration of information and data on the Web. The complicated applications and the high maintenance cost for the enterprise information management system is always big issues, and the Web service can effectively solve this problem.This paper first presents the large supermarket management system background and its shortcomings using the traditional technology. The Web Services technology is proposed to the supermarket management system design. Then this article describes the Web Services technology in detail, including some specific implementations of the technology. The system specification analysis is conducted, as well as the principles and objectives of the system development and business processes. Later, the design of the entire system, including information security system, dynamic integration and other core modules are introduced. Finally, the performance of the system is summarized, and the future direction of development and improvement of the system is presented.
