Design And Research On Location System Of Hospitalized Psychiatric Patients

Hospitalization of mental patients is a special kind of crowd, but also a need to the attention of the community population.In recent years, the frequent occurrence of psychiatric patients without the approval of the hospital without permission escape events, not only impact to the patient’s own treatment, but also cause a bad influence on society.However, the mental hospital for the monitoring of hospitalized patients, not only have the high cost of nursing and heavy workload, but also can not be timely and effective prevention of mental patients escape.The hospital is difficult to manage hospitalized patients and nurses is difficult to grasp the activity status of hospitalized patients in the ward in real time.In order to reduce the cost of hospital care, reduce the workload of medical staff and to strengthen the real-time monitoring of the patient, there have a psychiatric in-patient positioning system.This article studies the Zigbee wireless sensor network technology.By analyzing the technical characteristics of several wireless communication technology,we obtained the advantages and feasibility of Zigbee technology in the psychiatric patient positioning system.Combined zigbee position technology research and recently development,We proposed CC2430/CC2431chip as the core and RSSI as our location algorithm,developed a psychiatric patient positioning system based on Zigbee wireless sensor positioning technology solutions.The wireless positioning system connect to the monitoring center through embedded gateway.The position information acquired by the wireless positioning system is transmitted to the monitoring center by embedded gateway and the monitoring center to send control commands to the lower layer node via embedded gateway. This paper introduces a wireless location system hardware and software design, including the coordinator node, the reference node and positioning node hardware and software design.This article detailed description the positioning and monitoring software system block diagram, graphical user interface in order to achieve real-time monitoring of psychiatric patients in the monitoring software and query.The psychiatric in-patient positioning system can complete real-time tracking and monitoring of psychiatric patients,the system can quickly given the alarm response and inform the nursing staff make the appropriate treatment to the escape patients and provide the historical trajectory queries of the location information of patients.After testing, the system is running stable, high positioning accuracy, friendly interactive interface, and has a good practical value and promotional value.
