| The revision of the People’s Daily was made early this year, which shows that the party newspaper applys the spirits of the18th CPC National Congress and accelerates the pace of "Zouzhuangai". After the revision there are a series of changes on the layouts, contents and article styles. These changes mainly reflect that news reports approach the tendences of "Santiejin","Duanshixin" and "Jiediqi". The strengthening of supervision by public opinion, the establishent of comment section, the adjustment of current politics news and other aspects are more the prominent changes of this reform. This revision was made as traditional media have been facing the aggressive effects of Internet, therefore the significance and influence of this revision not only inspired the party newspaper, but also made a preliminary exploration for the reform of traditional media and even of the whole news media. When new leaders come into power and when the pattern of public opinion changes, the People’s Daily, with banner significance, played a model role, taking the lead in making a move and bringing fresh air of reform for the whole journalism. |
