| With the continuous improvement of communication network technology and smart phones, a variety of applications which are originally based on PC terminal, are now gradually migrating to the mobile terminal. Video surveillance, due to its intuitive, accurate, timely and informative features has become an important part of security system. The combination of video surveillance system and smart phones, with the smart phones as surveillance terminal, is becoming a new direction of development.Making a commercial project during my internship as the prototype, this paper discusses the design and implementation of the Android-based smartphone platform video surveillance system. The paper first describes the background of current developments in the field of video surveillance, giving the necessity and significance of the mobile platform video surveillance. Then the paper describes the business background and overall structure of this system, with a detailed analysis of the test points and related needs of a mobile terminal video surveillance. The paper focuses on the design and implementation of key modules of the system, and makes detailed analyses and discussions of these modules such as instruction set module, data communication module, processing of receiving data module, data storage module. Finally, the paper gives the summary and outlook of the full text. |
