With the progress and development of society and economy, the network ’s ubiquitous, rapidpopularization of computer technology and virtual reality technology, the museum has become avirtual extension of the development trend of the museum. Virtual Museum means after thecollections digitized on display and spread through Internet technology, not only more effectivepreservation of heritage, and the migration of entities serving traditional museum to transcend timeand space virtual services, solve past problems, to achieve a culture of knowledge sharing. Inrecent years, countries have embarked on the construction of a virtual museum and research, so thatmuseum culture become " cultural show " walked among the people, so that everyone "visit" themuseum’s desire to become possible.This paper focuses on the limitations of the museum-related entities and management "threeDilemma", the specific design of the "three questions," the research, namely Status ofdevelopment of the virtual museum is like? classification, technical design and basic features of avirtual museum are what? How Virtual Museum of Art New Media Perspective effect? This articlewill use literature, social surveys, questionnaires and statistical analysis of several research methodsin the analysis of the current situation, basic classification, technical support, visual design, andcompared with the traditional museum with new characteristics, analysis focused on the effect of avirtual museum of art, discovery arising from the impact of new media.
