Cloud computing applications for enterprise have become a reality. Platforms such as Amazon's EC2, Microsoft's Azure platform have already appeared on the market. Cloud computing platform provides computing resources in the form of services. Cloud computing technology improves and integrats grid computing, utility computing, cluster technology and distributed systems technology. The concept of cloud computing provides a better solvtion of computing resources delivery model as well as a new system model. Meanwhile, cloud computing requires advancer management than traditional IT system management technology. As core of cloud, virtualization played a central role in cloud computing platform. There is magnificent importance in researching how to optimize the porvision of virtualization resource, improving resource utilization, reducing system power consumption and supporting traditional services with cloud computing platform.Based on existing relative studies and available cloud computing platforms, this essay analyzes the management requirement and existing problems of cloud computing platforms. Then we refer and improve existing cloud management algorithms and management systems in order to design a new optimization virtualization resources management system including the resource modeling, management system architecture and management specification. We perform verification experiments by building a prototype system for testing functions and efficiency. The main innovations of this essay are as follows:1) Based on the relationship between IT system resources, we design a unified modeling which can represent service resources, virtualization resources as well as physical resources. Standarize expressions are used for modeling the properties of various resources and the relationships between these resources.2) Designing an optimizing algorithm for resources load distribution and scheduling based on demand of the platform managing features.3) Designing heterogeneous resources management architecture for supporting communication and managing with heterogeneous.
