Cloud computing-a new technology in IT field, has received considerable concerns from scholars and the country ever since it’s been brought up.Its main techinical feature is to provide the vitualized resources to the users in the Internet via service. Thus, users can have access to computing resources efficiently and effectively without extra cost. The research priority of the current area is how to manage the huge cloud computing resources in an effective way as to increase its utilization.Based on the design and development of cloud computing resource management’s prototype system, we focus on the issus of huge cloud computing resources scheduling in cloud enviromment. We analysed background knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization technology and cloud resource management. Further study has been made on virtualization technology of VMware,KVM and Xen. We have abstracted the universal definition of cloud computing resource and did mathematical modelling after a detaild analysis on the features of cloud computing resource. An improved algorithm of cloud computing resource scheduling based on ant colony algorithm has been made after analysis of the theory,advantages and disadvantages of the and colony algorithm. In this paper, we designed and realized the prototype system of cloud computing resource management, mainly foucs on the system’s designing background,goals,architecture,database, back ground scheduling monitoring system, and the visualization of user interface. The simulation experiment shows the modified cloud computing scheduling algorithm based on ant colony algorithm has greatly improved the utilization of cloud computing resource scheduling.
