| As the concept of the Internet of Things came up around the world in recent years, the development and application of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has become the focus and popular of research and development. The characteristics of the RFID transceiver which can be able to cover the near-field and the far-field at the same time in the Ultra High Frequency(UHF) make it more extensive application. UHF RFID transceiver can be divided into fixed and mobile depending on the application environment. The mobile hand-held UHF RFID transceiver has small volume and light weight, and it is portable and easy to use. Since the heavy demand in modern logistics and supply chain management, the hand-held UHF RFID transceiver has become a new hot spot. The main purpose of this paper is to design a UHF RFID hand-held transceiver. The transceiver can quickly identify the multi-tag and has friendly man-machine interaction based onμC/OS-Ⅱand ARM7 embedded systems platform. Firstly, the article sets forth the principle of the RFID and it's development and application. Then the article describles the method of communication between the master module and other functional modules in detail, and It describles the theoretical basis of theμC/OS-Ⅱembedded system in brief. The hand-held hardware circuit uses the LPC2146 based on ARM7 kernel as the main control chip. The article has completed the hardware diagram and PCB design including the main control module, communication interface, human-machine interface, RFID modules, power management modules etc, and depict the main control chips'characteristics and design principles of each functional module. The transplant of theμC/OS-Ⅱoperating system to LPC2146 has been finished based on the hardware circuit. The operating system takes each functional module as system tasks and assign corresponding priority, through the task scheduling to operate the whole hand-held system. TheμC/OS-Ⅱoperating system transplantation test, the interface displays the test, communications test and UHF tag identification test have been conducted in the design process. |
