With the low carbon economy becoming the main trend of economic development in our country, electric cars, an integrant part of the new energy strategy and smart grid as well as an important part of the strategic and emerging industries determined by State Council,will become the focus of the car and energy industry development. The development of electric cars is the best way of the application of coal-based energy and transportation in China whose energy structure is mainly coal-based.Besides,it is also the best method to keep sustainable development when China's automobile industry is faced with the challenges presented by the energy, environment and climate change challenges. It is also the strategic choice among China's response to the financial crisis, which can foster new industries and new economic growth point in China. What's more it is the best choice to make China's automobile industry transit from quantity to quality and achieve self-development under the backgroundof the international automotive industry "shift" and "transformation". However, electric vehicle charging station, a main link of the electric car industry which works as a system engineering, must coordinate its development with that of other fields associated with the electric car industryAccording to the current development of electric cars and the need for electric vehicle charging station, this paper puts forward an electric car battery pile software design based on At91rm9260+LINUX ARM9 microprocessor-based embedded operating system. The scheme which is the realization of the use of embedded technology in charging piles software design, can realize the following main functions:1, Humanized operation interface;2, safe and reliable charging management;3, accurate safe electricity statistics and debits management;4, standard print management of consumption of single detailThis system mainly complete embedded software as part of the operating system Linux platform transplants, LCD screen interface display, RS485 bus power, ESAM module control statistics debits management, thecan bus management charging module, serial printers print.
