In recent years with the popularity of electric vehicles continue,EV charging stationsas electric vehicles energy supply service infrastructure,has been developed on a largescale.But at present, the construction of EV charging station is still in the demonstrationoperation phase. The equipment which is monitored by monitoring system,with a widerange and different standards. Led to the current monitoring system data access andcontrol devices are also a wide range,increased the complexity of the charging stationmonitoring system of data access, reduces the stability of the system, increases the costof software development and installation and debugging, maintenancse costs. In order tosolve the existing problems, this research developed a embedded monitoring terminalsoftware platform include CAN communication, serial communication and TCPcommunications.First,this article introduces system basic composition,system function and overallstructure of the system,this system is the present mainstream EV charging stationmonitoring system. And gives the role and position of monitoring terminal in themonitoring system. Hardware platform uses ARM Cortex-A8for the core,EVC335X-801development board which dominant frequency at720MHZ, and withmultiple CAN port, serial port and network port. This subject adopts embedded Linuxas the operating system, VS2008+Qt development platform for the graphical interface,ACE for the network communications development platform, and to create a systemdata and communication mode in the form of an xml file.And then details the monitoring terminal software architecture,which Mainlyincludes the main process of graphical interface, data processing module andcommunication module and so on three parts. The part of main process mainlyintroduces the implementation methods and techniques of the main interface of systemand other important sub interface. The part of data processing module, we use a C++standard container classes map to build the library system’s memory,and this articleprovides the operator interface to read and write memory library.The part ofcommunication module Mainly introduces the realization process of the threecommunication mode of series ports, CAN and TCP. With its own conditions, we set up the integrated test environment,mainly test the display interface, interface, data accessand communication function.The test results show that the monitoring terminal designof this project has achieved the expected goal.Finally, summary this article, analysis the insufficient exist in the currently systems,and analysis this system need to be refined and improved in the future.
