In economy developed, commercial activity frequent modern society, the people must preserve and manage the massive name cards, but the paper name card existence not easy to preserve and shortcomings and so on search difficulty, is being substituted gradually by the electronic name card.The electronic name card machine arises at the historic moment. Infrared communication technology is currently in short-range wireless communication market, plays an important role, infrared communication protocol already have mature uniform standards. Infrared communication technology and low cost, speed, bandwidth is almost unlimited transmission of radio interference from the advantages of full IR communication in the communication advantages of the electronic card machines to electronic business cards in exchange for high-speed transmission.This paper studied the infrared communications, a detailed analysis of the principle of infrared protocol, including IrPHY, IrLAP, IrLMP, IrIAS other necessary agreements and protocols Ir TinyTP other optional protocols. Demonstrating the same time, the system, the hardware circuit design, described in detail by infrared communication technology to achieve electronic business card transfer method.This article from electronic name card machine project demand obtaining, narrated the embedded system development situation, has analyzed the infrared communication principle thoroughly, and has carried on the contrast to the IrSimple agreement and the existing IrDA agreement, introduced the corresponding hardware electric circuit design mentality, showed based on design methods and the software flow and so on the Linux IrSimple agreement analysis software, special-purpose driver and confirmation test software.In this paper, high-speed infrared communication technology in the embedded system approach to the embedded 32-bit processor ARM 11 (S3C6410) for the hardware platform, to design the corresponding software system, using a short-range high-speed infrared communication technology to achieve digital electronic business card exchange, the electronic card machines to high-speed data transmission of information results. The design of hardware and software systems to 4Mbps speeds for reliable transmission, and in the actual e-card machines for the transmission test.
