With the development of network technology and the increase of information, user for information management system requirements becomes higher. A stable and efficient database system would ensure management system be efficient, stable and safe operation. How to ensure the performance of the system won't appear drop; after the performance degradation problems cause, how to find the causes; Aim the reasons, to design the reasonable optimization scheme is designers have to face and the actual problems must be solved, the meaning of discussing database optimization technique.This paper introduced a data management system: coal sales ticket management system, which depends on good database design. System appears problem gradually and performance fell in operation after the database System design completed. This discusses the actual coal sales ticket management system problems occurred in the database, analyzes the cause of problems and relevant optimization method, studies theory combining practical optimization problem. Designing specific optimization scheme for actual operation system database by the system optimization theory knowledge.This paper analyzes the hardware optimization first, applies disk array and RAID technique to it, focuses on the research of the reasonable design and optimization with index, SQL statements written and optimization. Aim at the special inquires of coal sales ticket management system, design reasonable query mechanism from program logic operation .Analysis other factors to improve the system performance. Based on the optimization of various factors, designs a set of suitable optimized plans for coal sales ticket management system database to improve the system performance.
