With the development of the Internet applications and e-commerce, the scope of application of the database is more and more extensive, and the scale of the database also is constantly expanding, but the system's performance problem is more and more prominent, so to design an easy to maintain, highly efficient, stable database is increasingly important. The Oracle with its excellent compatibility, high availability, concurrency control, mass data storage and comprehensive management tools becomes the most widely used one in large databases. And the Unicom financial audit system is Oracle applications. However, with the application systems large-scale increasing, business data accumulating, more and more business applications changing and other reasons, the system was getting slower and slower, the system was inefficient, system response time appeared a long time, sometimes users can not browse the Web normally and carried out business-related operations, so the system had been unable to meet the user requirements. This paper is based on the performance of the system operating conditions, combined with Oracle optimization techniques for database performance to find the performance degradation caused by various factors. According to locate a performance bottleneck, from the database storage planning, database objects partition, SQL statement, index optimization, stored procedures and other aspects to implementation of system performance tuning. Finally optimization had achieved remarkable results by enhancing the overall performance of the database to solve the system performance issues that arose. And the system operation is stable and business is processing efficiently to support China Unicom's income security strongly now.
