"shaanxi Daily" Credibility Of The Study

This dissertation is an empirical research on the credibility of Shaanxi Daily. On the whole, It focuses on the following three problems:What is the situation on the study of media credibility in China? What is the situation on the credibility of Shaanxi Daily? How can it establish their own brand of credibility?In recent years, the problems of media credibility have become a common topic in our China. In fact, in the latter half of the 20th century, study of the media credibility has been the research hot and the forefront in the western academic research. However, the study in this area began late in China. So ours'study is still in the initial stage, whether research methods, or research results, are not comparable with the study in western. So there are many problems which are worth exploring in this field.The author read a lot of research results which are in home and abroad, summarized the theory in domestic and international research, and learnt and absorbed the results of scientific theory for the study of the credibility of Shaanxi Daily. On this basis, depend on the predecessors' research results, the author designed the questionnaire on the situation of Shanxi Daily's credibility, and conducted a 3-month investigation. The results showed that the situation of Shaanxi Daily'credibility is better than the other medias in the Shaanxi province, but scored no more than 8 points, the credibility is not a good condition.Finally, based on previous research results, the author proposed some methods for Shaanxi Daily to establish their brand of credibility. Back to the Western research, the author found the shortcomings in the study, so the researchers should make the study more scientific in the future.
