With the coming of information society , The media literacy education has become one of required education for members of society. Only possessing the media literacy, people can face diversified media and the information carried by these media independently and calmly, draw correct conclusions, and make the media serve themselves.In recent years, It has gradually become to the hot research on teenagers' media literacy education in China. However, for rural middle school students , what media circumstance are they facing? What effect is being made on them by countryside media circumstance? what media literacy condition are they being having? How do the school education response to the swift changing media? And so on. There were little research on these.The paper is based on empirical studies. The media literacy actuality of rural middle school students is investigated in Chinese central area, especially in Hu' bei and Hu' nan province. It analyzed the effect on their media literacy surrounding the media circumstance and by the usage of media. The conclusion is made: in generally, whether the contact and usage of media or the acceptance, comprehension, and evaluation, the difference is large between countries and cities. It is basically in blind spot condition on the media literacy education of rural middle school students. Two reasons are list in this paper. One is the existing of the urban-rural dual structure on macroscopical. The other is the lacking of the sense of media literacy education and education resource, the limit of hardware device, and the laggard of teachers training.At last, the strategy is provided to implement effectively on rural middle school student media literacy education from three aspects in the paper. Firstly, the main force action of school education on media literacy education should be fully exerted. The framework can be effectively constructed by the curriculum design, teachers training, evaluation system, etc. Secondly, family is a necessary important aspect. The close relation should be made between schools and parents to collaborate for the rural middle school student education. Finally, government and media must become an organic component of media literacy education.One point must be emphasized that the implement of media literacy education is a project of system .School, family, media and government, only make joint efforts in many ways, could guarantee this smooth expansion moving about.
