LTCC (low temprature co_fired ceramic) technology has become one of the more influenced and more emulative technologies in wireless communication system and in modem martial facilities, because of its tridimensional and multilayer connection layout. Inductance and capacitance can be designed flexibly and the space of component can be reduced by use LTCC technology. The LC filter based on LTCC, comparing with the traditional LC filter, can not only be integrated in MCM but also be produced in the shape of SMD such as 0805,0603. So, to a great extent, the integration, reliability and other characteristics of the electronic system can be improved.This dissertation has been started after the technical platform be comprehended, and the filter has been realized by using lumped elements. To begin with, the equivalent circuits, which are derived from network synthesis, are simulated by using the circuit simulators (Ansoft Designer and ADS).Afterward, the three-dimensional models of inductance and capacitance are established and the effective values of every element are extracted through the electromagnetic simulated soft(Ansoft HFSS). After the simulation analysis of some familiar physical models of inductance and capacitance embedded in filters, the variational trends of the effective values and Q values, causing by some sensitive sizes, have been presented. The principle layout of the filters have been completed based on the study of the discrete component. The physical models of the filters have been established and have been simulated by the soft(HFSS). Simulative results achieved the required targets.Some key technics on LTCC technology have been introduced and some sensitive parameters, affecting the performance of the filters, have been discussed in this thesis. The sensitive parameters have provided some feedback information to design, so the design of the filters have been optimized.Two kinds of nine_order LC lowpass filter with the cutoff frequencies equal to 195MHz and 260MHz separately have been produced through the technology of LTCC. Two kinds of five_order LC bandpass filter with the central frequencies equal to 1050MHz,1950MHz separately and bandwiths equal to 500MHz,900MHz separately have also been manufactured. All of the final products have been tested by using the equipment Agilent E8358A. Testing results accord with the simulative curves, both of them achieved the required targets. The aim of the combination of design and technics has been realized.
