The low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) and three dimensional (3D) integration technology of microwave circuits are excellent methods for realizing miniature volume, light weight, high performance and reliability of wireless equipments and systems.Recently LTCC technique has become one of the hotspots in microwave circuit and system research field. After adequate investigation, we have done some relevant research on the design of microwave antennas and lumped elements. The main contents of this thesis are as follows: A new type LTCC tooth-like-slot antenna with broad bandwidth and low cross-polarization level is developed. The lumped spiral inductors with both single layer and multi-layer, lumped capacitors with multi-layer, and a low pass filter using these lumped elements are designed. The size dimensional asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) method is proposed, with which the capacitance of a microstrip and the input impedance of a dipole antenna array are analyzed efficiently. The formulas of sensitivity analysis are derived. In the derivation, the proposed size dimensional AWE is used. As examples, the sensitivity analysis of both the inductance and the capacitance is successfully implemented.
